Law And Order and Law And Order SVU were the standouts from Dick Wolf, all the rest were questionable.
Wonder what happened for it to not proceed as it was slated in their programming?
I recon they should make a prequel series based on Lennie Briscoe’s early days in the police force. Gritty New York, 70’s fashion, classic cars and cops who weren’t afraid to smack the bad guys around. No Google/social media searches or DNA testing to help solve the case
I like the sound of that!
Sounds like ‘NYPD Blue’ early seasons-doing a period show is much more expensive though, and some of the above mentioned series did fail eg ‘Trial By Jury’.
I read somewhere that hate crimes could go straight to streaming due to its strong language etc I hope this isn’t the case and goes to regular tv
