More Brits apply for Love Island than any other show

Dating shows top the list of most UK casting application searches.

UK dating show Love Island is the show that Brits want to appear on than any other.

Uswitch recently analysed Google search data to find out which shows have been attracting the most applications.

ITV reality romance Love Island topped the list with Google search data showing an average of 28,800 searches for an application form every year.

It was followed by First Dates at 22,000.

The 2021 season of Love Island began on 9now last night.

  1. I think that’s one slightly inaccurate metric. When I was in the contestant pool for the Chase, there were 100,000 people who’d *passed the auditions*. No way the Chase isn’t #1.

  2. UK TV really needs something like an Amazing Race or Survivor to start up once the pandemic is declared over! I reckon the application numbers for those two shows in this day & age to be skyhigh!
