Ninja Warrior runs to Tuesday victory
Ninja grand final is too strong for the competition. Sunrise well ahead of Today.

Nine had an easy victory on Tuesday with Australian Ninja Warrior crowning a winner and tennis on 9GEM. But Seven had a strong lead in breakfast TV.
Ninja‘s grand final pulled 815,000 metro viewers, rising to 918,000 for the moment Zak Stolz was named as 2021 winner, however that’s down on 2020’s 1.06m / 1.2m.
It was still well ahead of Farmer Wants a Wife (684,000), MasterChef Australia (609,000), 7:30 (569,000) and Anh’s Brush with Fame (524,000). Who Do You Think You Are? was 276,000 on SBS.
In preliminary numbers The Weakest Link drew 369,000 then The Rookie (277,000 / 209,000), and Firestarter: The Story of Bangarra (235,000).
Nine network won Tuesday with 30.9% then Seven 28.1%, 10 17.5%, 10 14.0% and SBS 9.5%.
Nine News (1.1m / 1.04m) was best for Nine. A Current Affair won its slot at 790,000 then Hot Seat (580,000 / 367,000).
Seven News was #1 at 1.16m / 1.08m for Seven. The Chase (660,000 / 392,000) was just ahead of Home & Away (650,000).
The Project drew 445,000 / 294,000 for 10. 10 News First was 410,000 / 291,000 then NCIS (220,000 / 171,000).
ABC News was 743,000 for ABC. The Drum drew 197,000.
On SBS it was Tour de France (175,000 studio show / 171,000 Stage 10), SBS World News (172,000 / 140,000).
NCIS also topped multichannels at 164,000. Wimbledon drew up to 156,000 on 9GEM.
Sunrise: 270,000
Today: 209,000
News Breakfast: 115,000 / 72,000

Farmer has certainly dropped from it’s Sunday night ratings. Was it a mistake to go against Ninja’s final shows?
Notice that The Weakest Link numbers are improving and also winning the time slot. Are viewers warming to Magna?
Need to see if they are adjusted. There may be some Ninja share in there.
