Revived US series iCarly has been renewed for a second season.

The series picks up nearly 10 years after the original Nickelodeon show ended, finding Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove) and her friends navigating work, love and their family in their twenties. Joining Cosgrove is Jerry Trainor as Spencer, Nathan Kress as Freddie, Laci Mosley as Harper and Jaidyn Triplett as Millicent.

iCarly was created by Dan Schneider and ran from 2007 – 2012 while the new series is executive produced by Ali Schouten and Miranda Cosgrove, with Jerry Trainor and Alissa Vradenburg serving as producers.

Season one will stream on Paramount+ Australia on Wednesday, 11 August,

Production on the new season will begin in Los Angeles later this year.
