Renewed: The Good Fight

US legal drama gets the sixth season tick.

The Good Fight has been renewed for Season 6.

The Good Fight’s provocative, whip smart, and no-holds-barred world remains as relevant as ever, continuing to entice new audiences as one of Paramount+’s top performing original series and acquisition drivers,” said Nicole Clemens, president of Paramount Plus original scripted series.

“We are thrilled to continue The Good Fight’s enduring legacy with a sixth season and can’t wait to see what the brilliant minds behind the series, Robert and Michelle King, tackle next.”

The series stars Christine Baranski, Audra McDonald, Sarah Steele with Mandy Patinkin and Aussie Charmaine Bingwa plus Michael Boatman, Nyambi Nyambi and Zach Grenier.

Season 5 is currently screening in Australia on SBS.

  1. I was a late comer to the Good Wife and loved it, so when the same writers started the Good Fight I continued on.

I loved the Good Fight from the beginning, but started to tire of it in S4.

S5 still has absurdities, but it is also interesting in what it is saying. The whole 9 and 1/4 court stick is a case in point. On one hand having a go at the rise and rise of Judge Judy and her clones, but pointing out the real gap in access to justice. Then the storyline about prosecutions of the Capital Hill rioters is both timely and thought provoking. S5 is slowly drawing me back in.

I hope that S6 doesn’t go silly crazy like S4.
