ViacomCBS makes Streaming exec appointment

ViacomCBS Australia and New Zealand has appointed Liz Baldwin as Senior Vice President, Head of Streaming, across 10 Play, 10 Speaks and Paramount+.

Previously General Manager, Digital, she joined Network 10 in March 2015 as Digital Executive Producer and will report to Chief Operating and Commercial Officer and Executive Vice President of ViacomCBS Australia and New Zealand, Jarrod Villani.

In this newly created role, she will continue to oversee the digital business for 10 Play, but also manage the digital strategy for the new streaming service Paramount+. She will continue to lead ViacomCBS’ growing digital and streaming team.

“Liz is one of the best and brightest digital media executives in Australia, with extensive experience in strategy, content and technology. Our digital media business has seen significant growth under Liz’s direction and leadership. She is the ideal person to lead the digital strategy for ViacomCBS in Australia and New Zealand as we continue to enhance our streaming offerings on 10 Play and soon to be launched SVOD service Paramount+,” said Villani.

Beverley McGarvey, Chief Content Officer and Executive Vice President, ViacomCBS Australia and New Zealand, added: “Liz has made an important and valuable contribution to our digital strategy over the last few years and I am delighted she has agreed to lead the streaming strategy for Paramount+.”
