True crime documentary Homicide with Ron Iddles premieres Sunday night on Seven.
Iddles, who spent 25 years investigating homicides for Victoria Police, revisits crimes he solved over his career -plus two unsolved cases.
The true crime series is produced by CJZ, which previously made Ron Iddles: The Good Cop for Foxtel.
17-year-old Gary Adams left home one night in December 2003 and never returned. His mother Jo-Ann struggled to convince police that he was more than just a runaway. Eight years later, the case was still unsolved until Jo-Ann pleaded with homicide detective Ron Iddles to investigate. Ron finally cracked the case with masterful interview techniques and a lengthy undercover operation.

I watched this last night. It was really interesting to see how it all works. I’m glad Gary’s mother has the answers now & hopefully she can find some peace. I hope the killer never gets out!
