Australia: Now & Then debut outranks The Hundred, Cheap Seats.

New local shows surveyed the land on Census night but momentum remains with Seven.

The Voice was again above the magic million at 1.07m metro viewers, capping off three strong episodes for Seven.

It remains well in front of Australian Survivor (664,000) which also topped 2 demos, The Block (634,000), 7:30 (595,000) and Back to Nature (363,000).

Seven’s momentum saw newcomer Australia: Now & Then win its slot at 516,000 viewers, eclipsing The Hundred debut at 484,000 then Catalyst (315,000) and The Cheap Seats (313,000).

Seven Network won Tuesday with 32.5% then Nine 26.4%, 10 19.2%, ABC 15.0% and SBS 7.0%.

Seven News was #1 at 1.19m / 1.15m for Seven. Home & Away was high at 733,000 then The Chase (601,000 / 388,000). Gordon, Gino & Fred: American Road Trip was 163,000.

Nine News (1.11m / 1.05m) led for Nine. A Current Affair won its slot at 823,000 then Hot Seat (497,000 / 330,000) and a Travel Guides replay (293,000).

The Project drew 546,000 / 326,000 for 10. 10 News First was 409,000 / 254,000 with a Ross Noble: Brain Dump repeat at 92,000.

ABC News was 757,000 for ABC. The Drum (218,000) and The Chemical World (195,000) followed.

On SBS it was Who Do You Think You Are? (188,000), SBS World News (181,000 / 131,000), Insight (170,000) and Dateline. The Feed was 62,000.

ABC News Mornings led multichannels at 185,000 with Melbourne viewers in front of Sydney then Brissy.

  1. Oh dear The Hundred was terrible with those so called comedians. Poor Sophie wasn’t sure what was going on and Andy, who I really like, was irritating with his constant laughter at Sam who just was not funny . Hope they change the guests next week so I can give it another try.

  2. Wow Survivor is performing very solid in ratings and fantastic in demos – 10 would be pleased with that. Time will tell with The Block once room reveals start happening.

  3. Why did 9 show repeats of Travel Guides last night? It’s just not a good look to be scheduling repeats 2 days after the Olympics ends, when networks should be playing all their cards to attract the ex-Olympic viewers.
