Clearly its a fluke. Today is a sinking ship. I wake up with Sunrise!
With the Olympic push i was kind of hoping for more of a 800k+ figure, maybe even 1m. I know its a lot to ask but yeah expected more. It was a good premiere though and hope people keep watching. Honestly i’ve said it before too but i think Australian drama has to go at 7:30pm in this climate now. People just aren’t watching as much tv after 8:30pm.
Those breakfast show figures are strange, considering ABC beat Today on Tuesday. Thanks again to Seven showing Dean sitting up in bed in the trailer at end of Home and Away. The cliffhanger of him having touch-and-go brain surgery answered in the promo. Again.
Haha Neighbours does the same regularly – ended the week about a month ago on a cliffhanger (will Yashvi survive the car crash?) and promos right after the show ends showing her sitting up eating with a big smile on her face.
RFDS was great i was hoping it would do better than that
Over 600,000 for a New Aussie drama is a pretty good result or for any program outside of 730.
100% Great numbers
At least it won the timeslot. And BVOD + timeshift should give a good boost too I think.
