In 2002 the Willoughby newsroom came to a standstill for Brian Henderson's last bulletin.

It’s a measure of the man that the entire Nine News room in Sydney stopped to watch Brian Henderson’s final bulletin on 29th November 2002.
In this photo taken at Willoughby you can spot Peter Harvey, Georgie Gardner, Mark Burrows, Allison Langdon, Adam Walters ….and is that a young Ben Fordham?
“The way it is…”

All class, right to the end of his career and in fact his life. RIP Hendo.
So many great faces and memories.
I think bottom right is Anthony Flannery prior to him moving to Today as EP.
in 2002 Ben Fordham would have still been at ACA I think.
Yep thats Anthony. You would not generally find ACA staff in the Newsroom, they would of been in the cottage or ST1.
Great photo and thank you for the great memory of Brian’s last broadcast in 2002. He was the best …. Grew up with him …. Roger Climpson on Seven was also a wonderful newsreader in those days but I chose Brian to tell me. I loved the humility with which he dealt with those final words of goodbye. Class Act.
