Harrow and Liar star Ioan Gruffudd was recently cast in French Riviera series The Reunion.
Adapted from Guillaume Musso’s bestselling novel La Jeune Fille et la Nuit is now shooting on location in the south of France.
He joins Shemss Audat, Vahina Giocante, Dervla Kirwan, Rupert Graves, Salóme Gunnarrsdóttir, Ivanna Sakhno and Grégory Fitoussi.
Directed by Bill Eagles (Beautiful Creatures, 12 Monkeys) the series is produced by Sydney Gallonde.
Marston Bloom (Selection Day, Marcella) penned the adaptation of the story which opens in the present day, at a high school reunion in the south of France where three former friends reconnect. They grew apart and lost touch, but they are still bound by a tragic secret tied to the disappearance of a high school girl who went missing 25 years ago in the region.
ABC is yet to announce a fourth season of Harrow.

Wonder if anybody else remembers Ioan Gruffudd in the movie Very Annie Mary where he plays Hob, the young gay shop keeper. Very funny movie.

I like the actor, but the last series of Harrow was no where near the standard of the first series
I like the proudly Welsh Ioan, even after his somewhat typecast leading role in Harrow he is a man for all seasons as other occasional acting gigs Worldwide reveals.
Hopefully this time Ioan will get a worthy role in Reunion that will match his talents, perhaps we may even see him speak some French as well.
Interesting that it was mentioned that Harrow season 4 is yet to be announced, if Ioan is busy that may take a while to be decided.
