More Vera episodes “depends on the COVID situation”
S11 of mystery drama is coming but Brenda Blethyn keeps options open for S12.

Season 11 of Vera is in the pipeline, set to begin soon in the UK.
Two episodes were filmed during UK lockdown. A further four episodes began filming earlier this year and are expected to be released in 2022.
Star Brenda Blethyn has mixed feelings about the grind of shooting according to one interview.
“At the end of filming every season I think, ‘Oh, thank the Lord I’m going home. Never again’,” she said. “But it’s like having a lovely slap-up meal. You’ve eaten too much. You couldn’t eat another morsel. And you’re shown the menu again. ‘Take it away, take it away!’ But then a week later you get hungry again.
“By the time I go back to Newcastle again I’m always very much looking forward to it.”
Asked about Vera Season 12, she said, “It rather depends on the COVID situation and putting my priorities in order.”
New dates for Australia are yet to be announced.

So glad about Vera. David do you know anything about filming for up coming shows of Death in Paradise? And what about Murdoch Mysteries from Canada I haven’t read or heard anything g about the 14th (I think) season?
