Minor spoilers:

Filming of Big Brother VIP reportedly got underway on Friday, three days ahead of its rumoured Monday commencement.

Daily Mail has leaked cast names spotted on opening night at the new house at Olympic Park.

Caitlyn Jenner, transgender Republican candidate
Thomas Markle Jr., brother of Meghan Markle
Jessika Power, MAFS
Imogen Anthony, model
Matt Cooper, ex-NRL
Dayne Beams, ex-AFL
Luke Toki, Australian Survivor
Bernard Curry, actor Wentworth
Ellie Gonsalves, actor Fighting with my Family
Josh Carroll, model

It isn’t clear if more would be injected on subsequent nights or as Intruders.

A Seven spokesperson said, “We are not commenting on speculation about the cast of Big Brother VIP.

“All will be revealed soon and Big Brother is looking forward to meeting the new collection of housemates.”

The series will air later this year, although unlike recent seasons, could be without a Live finale….

  1. It’s quite a unique cast – rather refreshing from the usual celeb shows out there. i’ll be watching. Nice to not have the usual geordie shore and home & away rejects. Might not get the 7 viewers wtaching but will certainly set YouTube alight

  4. This really is a shame – assuming the Daily Mail are correct.
    Seven should of taken some inspiration from both 9/10 with celebrity versions of Apprentice and Masterchef – full Aussie cast who are well known. Also was an opportunity to bring back some big known BB players. Even just two or three!
    As a BB fan I’m really disappointed in this direction they have gone with most of this. I predict this will be a big fail never to be seen again. Let’s hope they don’t drag it out to fill the AGT void…
    Only thing I’m looking forward to at this stage is the new house…

  6. This cast (apart from Toki) is so unbelievably disappointing!!! I’m actually insulted that Channel 7 thinks we would want to watch this! The lowest of the lows is casting Meghan Markles brother all so he can spill dirt on her I’m sure.

    1. I’m a Celebrity casts much better than this…although, maybe the usual celebrities that go on these shows are being hogged by 10’s Masked Singer/Celebrity MasterChef/etc.

    1. Yep. Recognised 2 – a third thanks to David’s help with the brother of Meghan (although the surname may have nudged me) Only Bernard Curry and Caitlyn Jenner could i identify.

  14. If you hadn’t put what they do beside their name I wouldn’t have known at least 50% of these people. Hardly VIPs.
    Caitlyn has gone from an LGBT+ icon to being very on the nose with her comments.

    2. Networks don’t usually stand in the way of someone having an opportunity, especially where they aren’t on contract. BB VIP is the same production co. and will air after Aust Survivor is over.
