The Hundred: Aug 24

“I argued hard with Channel 9 when they suggested including Hamish Blake in the show," says Andy Lee.

Hamish and Andy ‘reunite’ on The Hundred with Andy Lee tonight.

It’s been two-years since their last outing on Perfect Holiday.

They are joined tonight by comedians Mike Goldstein and Becky Lucas.

Andy Lee said: “I argued hard with Channel 9 when they suggested including Hamish Blake in the show. I had heard from others that he is an absolute p**** to work with, but I must say I enjoyed his performance and he seemed like a really nice guy.”

Hamish Blake added: “I saw Andy in a suit and thought he must have had a court appearance. It turns out it’s his show outfit, so after the shock of that I had a ball.”

A lot of history between the comedy pair will be divulged as they dive into Hamish’s lockdown habit, reveal why Hamish was banned from driving the Caravan of Courage, and finally try to settle a ferocious 20-year debate once and for all. Taking it to “The Hundred”, they ask which Twisties flavour is better, Andy’s cheese flavour or Hamish’s preferred chicken?

  1. If nothing else, it’s a really good way to keep track of how many weak&cheap panel shows got a rush-birth due to Covid. Nine needs to fix the typo though – cmon guys, it’s spelled “Hundredth”..
