Voice, Paralympics drive Seven to winning week

All 7 nights, all 5 cities, as the Paralympics break records and help Seven to a clean sweep.

Seven’s Paralympics have broken records, drawing their best figures on Free to Air television.

The Opening Ceremony averaged 643,000 metro viewers.

On Wednesday 7mate hit a 9.6% share while the highest viewing audience was Monday night at 374,000.

Meanwhile The Voice continues its reign for Seven. The Block went up for Nine but Australian Survivor dipped at 10.

Nine: Nine News (Sun: 1.17m), The Block (Sun: 780,000), A Current Affair (728,000) and 60 Minutes (529,000).

10: Australian Survivor (Mon: 699,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (663,000), The Project (7pm: 473,000) and The Bachelor (Thurs: 470,000).

ABC: ABC News (700,000), Four Corners (585,000), Hard Quiz (570,000) and 7:30 (555,000).

Seven won all 7 nights. ABC bettered 10 on Friday & Saturday and both tied on Wednesday.

Seven led in all 5 metro cities.

  1. I think 7 could have put the Paralympics on the main channel and it would have been better than the repeats and shows that had during the weeknight. It would have won more ratings and with so many sports, it could have easily filled up 7 and 7mate easily each night. I’ve been watching it all on the 7plus app instead and it’s been great so far.
