  1. I knew making it would tank sorry but I can’t stand it so thank goodness for the incoming bachelorette season but until then ABC with hard quiz and question everything is my Wednesday night go to.

  2. I’ve (over)heard comments in the doctor’s waiting room – “What’s ‘Making It’? Um, say, ‘Play School’ for oldies”. I had to suffer 15 mins of it between ‘Hard Quiz’ and ‘Bull’ (an episode I somehow missed in its umpteen reruns). Prime time on a primary channel? Afternoon on Peach, but with a big maybe.

  3. I watched Making It last night. I reckon they need to remove the ‘comedy’ portions to improve the flow. I know they are skits but the ongoing puns lose audience interest really quickly in those small segments.

    1. I’d agree with that. We enjoy it here but the other issue is that they reveal most of the final build before they even start. Without the engaging banter or interaction between contestants (a la Lego Masters which has this down pat), it’s hard to drum up the same level of engagement.

  4. I have no interest in crafting at all but I enjoy Making It immensely. Love the hosts. Whilst it doesn’t make me want to get out the glue gun, anytime soon, I’d definitely pay these talented contestants for some of their work.

  5. It’s a shame about the failure of Making it. I really wanted to like it as I like the hosts but the parts I watched just felt incredibly boring. It wasn’t anywhere near engaging enough.

  6. Gogglebox is keeping 10 in the game on Thursdays, but Wednesdays are absolutely terrible. Maybe double eps of Making It on Wednesdays? Then they would at least have something other than Bull in the 8.30/9pm slot!
