TUDUM… Netflix global fan event is Sunday morning AEST

3 hour global fan event showcases some 70 films and series.

TUDUM, a 3 hour Netflix global fan event showcasing some 70 films and series will take place at 2am AEST Sunday morning on YouTube / Twitter / Twitch.

If unable to make the livestream, there will be a blog post announcement with all the vids shown at about.netflix.com/en/newsroom

TUDUM. What’s that? You know it when you hear it – you just rarely see it spelled out. TUDUM is the first beat you hear when you watch a show or movie on Netflix. And it’s the inspiration behind our inaugural “TUDUM: A Netflix Global Fan Event.”

On September 26, Netflix’s biggest stars and creators from around the world will join the virtual stage for an exciting day full of exclusives and first-looks. It’s our first ever global TUDUM event, and our goal is simple: to entertain and honor Netflix fans from across the globe.

Over 70 films and series will be featured throughout the three-hour event – including some of our most popular returning seasons like Stranger Things, Bridgerton and The Witcher, La Casa De Papel and Cobra Kai, as well as blockbuster films like Red Notice, Don’t Look Up, Extraction, The Harder They Fall, The Old Guard and more.

Sunday, September 26 at 2am AEST on YouTube.

  1. A three hour promo is pretty long, I’m not sure how many ‘fans’ would stay the pace, a better idea would be to have a 40 minute monthly promo featured on the Netflix streaming service providing all the entertainment highlights for each month with a few teasers for what there is to look forward to in the months ahead.

    1. Great idea Jamie! I’ve wanted that exact thing for a while now.

And yeah… 3 hours is a marathon in the streaming world… and with the case of youth these days (a large part of the Netflix audience)… they can’t even last through a 15 second TikTok video… attention spans are non existent.
