Welsh actor and former footballer Vinnie Jones was the first celebrity performer unmasked on The Masked Singer, last night.
Disguised as ‘Volcano’ he was the first to be eliminated after a vote alongside ‘Professor’ and ‘Mullet.’
None of the guessing panel Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes, Jackie O and Urzila Carlson manager to identify him after his performance of The Proclaimers hit I’m Gonna Be.
Jones has appeared in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Gone in 60 Seconds, X-Men: The Last Stand, Elementary and Arrow. But ‘best’ guesses were Sacha Baron Cohen, Christian Bale, Billy Bob Thornton and Anthony Mundine.
Jackie O said: “This is amazing. We never even thought for a second it was you.”
Dave Hughes said: “I was torn between acting and sport because I didn’t think you were a professional singer.”
6 more performers take to the stage tonight on 10.

Never heard of him either.
I am definitely out of the loop, I had no idea who this person was when revealed.
Haha me neither, I’d heard or seen the movies but no idea who he was was still a mystery even after he took the mask off 😆
I wondered how he came into Oz, I don’t remember hearing his entry into the country..
Was he here also for some other movie prouduction also?
Yes. On IMDB he’s listed as appearing in ‘The Killer’s List’ filmed in Australia.
