ABC’s You Can’t Ask That has been nominated at the MIPCOM Diversify TV Awards in Cannes.
The awards highlight programs that champion diversity and inclusion across the international television industry.
You Can’t Ask That was nominated recognised for its episode in which 9 lesbians answer questions around orientation, lifestyle and sexuality.
New Zealand is also nominated in the LGBTQI Scripted category, while Creamerie, co-produced by Tony Ayres Productions and filmed in NZ, is also nominated.
Elsewhere It’s a Sin and We are Lady Parts, both on Stan, were nominated.
