Network 10 has partnered with Racing and Wagering WA.

It will broadcast the TABtouch Masters series live from Ascot Racecourse, to West Australian viewers, hosted by Sports Reporter, Caty Price, and racing presenter, Brittany Taylor.

Reece Whitby, Minister for Racing and Gaming said: “The TABtouch Masters is a vital part of the 2021 Ascot Racing Carnival, with an iconic series of events that bring people together to share the fun and excitement of racing.

“This year’s TABtouch Masters will showcase the very best Western Australian racing action and we are all looking forward to a terrific festival.”

Racing and Wagering WA General Manager Racing, Charlotte Mills, said, “The lively and colourful spring racing carnival is a favourite time of year for a lot of West Australians. The highlight is the TABtouch Masters, which is the world’s only single-track thoroughbred racing festival featuring a Group 1 race worth at least $1 million on three consecutive Saturdays.

“Our prime racing season is a celebration of the glamour and excitement of racing as well as the efforts of thousands of people across the state who make it happen.”

Paul Townsend, Network 10 General Manager and Sales Director, Perth, said: “We are excited to team with Racing and Wagering WA to bring Perth viewers all the action from the iconic three race series.

“Network 10 is already home to the Melbourne Cup Carnival and proud West Australian’s Caty Price and Brittany Taylor will bring a unique blend of energy, experience and knowledge to this West Australian partnership as we continue to bring viewers all the thrill and excitement of horseracing live and free on 10 and 10 Play.”

It begins with the Heineken 3 Railway Stakes Day on Saturday, 20 November, followed by Crown Perth Winterbottom Stakes Day on Saturday, 27 November and rounding off with the Drummond Golf Kingston Town Classic Day on Saturday, 5 December.

  1. Can’t wait for the day horse racing is made illegal. no animal deserves to die under the name of entertainment. 116 horses died last year on Australian racetracks…. sickens me to my core.

  2. Why would you only show it in WA?? Little pubs in the bush that don’t have pay TV will certainly show it for the punters to watch. Similarly, stay at home punters will also have a look.

  3. With respect to both brands, when the release says “Network 10 has partnered with Racing and Wagering WA”, does that mean R&WWA is paying 10 to feature the event on the tele?
    Something like this that is only state-covered doesn’t sound like that big a deal, in the broader sense of network television 2021.
