The small screen adaptation of the Child’s Play horror franchise is coming to 9Now.
Chucky, written and executive produced by creator Don Mancini, gets an early Halloween premiere on Friday October 29.
It debuted in the USA last week.
After teenage loner Jake Webber (Zackary Arthur) discovers a vintage ‘Good Guy’ doll at a suburban yard sale, a quiet American town soon erupts into mayhem as a blood-chilling murder spree begins to spill everyone’s deepest and darkest secrets.
While Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) unleashes havoc, familiar faces from his past return and threaten to reveal his shadowy origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became the legendary murderous doll.

Do I need to have watched the Chucky movies to watch this show ?
Thanks for the info David. I have a question though… how will this roll out? Weekly? Or will they dump the first 3-4 episodes at once…? Or just the first episode until next year?
It is weekly in USA so that’s the likelihood. Not sure about at launch.
Why don’t they show episode 1 on channel 9 then the rest on 9now like they did with that comedy alien show .
