ABC appoints new Head of Audience Data & Insights

Elizabeth Moore joins ABC's Audience Data and Insights Team; Karen Madden is Head of Marketing.

ABC has appointed Elizabeth Moore (pictured above) as the new Head of Audience Data & Insights.

She is a data and insights professional who joins from Telstra, where she has been for the past 10 years, most recently working as the Executive for Data, Reporting & Analytics. She previously spent 13 years with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and currently sits on the Business Advisory Board of Deakin University’s Faculty of Business.

“We’re delighted to have Liz join our team,” said Leisa Bacon, ABC Director Audiences.

“Liz has enjoyed an incredible career with extensive experience in key areas of analytics and data which we are building out at the ABC. She’s held a variety of senior roles in the field, in addition to being active in the broader research community for many years. This positions her well to lead and support ABC’s fantastic Audience Data and Insights Team into the future.”

She begins on November 15.

Meanwhile ABC recently appointed Karen Madden as Head of Marketing. She joins the ABC from the Taronga Conservation Society and was recently Group Marketing Director at Nine and before that as General Manager Trade Marketing & Media Services at News Corp Australia.

“We’re delighted to have someone of Karen’s talent and experience join our award-winning ABC marketing team. Her extensive industry knowledge and a passion for people and the media provides a very adaptable skill set, which will help to drive the ABC’s marketing efforts forward in a changing landscape,” said Leisa Bacon, Director Audiences.

She begins on November 29.
