The Voice coaches all return in 2022

Keith Urban, Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy & host Sonia Kruger all return for Seven talent show.

The Voice coaches Keith Urban, Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and host Sonia Kruger are all returning to the show in 2022.

The Voice is the only series to deliver more than 1 million metro viewers for every episode this year, arriving on Seven as the most successful series of The Voice since 2015.

Rita Ora said: “I can’t wait to return to The Voice. I absolutely love Australia, and it’s a privilege to be part of such a life-changing show. The phenomenal artists this year blew my mind, especially Team Rita. The other coaches are like extended family and I’m really looking forward to getting back together to discover the next The Voice superstar.”

Keith Urban said: “The Voice just sent me a photo of an empty spinning red chair and said ‘this has your name on it’…. and it literally did…. So, I RSVP’d ‘Yes!’…. and I’ll be coming ready to play!!”

Guy Sebastian said: “Last season was one of the best times I’ve ever had making television! The vibe was great, the fun was real and, yet again, we uncovered some insane Aussie talent. I can’t wait to be back again next season with Keith, Rita, Jess and the incredible team of producers and musicians to make some more magic happen! Oh … and Team Guy won. Bella you really raised the standards for all of us!”

Jessica Mauboy added: “I am excited to be invited back to The Voice 2022 with this incredible team of coaches again. We had such a great time this year. The talent in this country is exceptional and to be able to continue to support and showcase upcoming musicians is always an honour.”

Seven has also been casting for The Voice: Generations but is yet to clarify if it includes the same line-up.

  1. Loved the show. The judges were fantastic, though Jessica needs to tone it down next season. She was very grating. I’m sure she will. Talent was awesome. So many great singers out there. But it was over too quickly. My head is still spinning. Hardly got to see them sing any songs or get to know them.

  2. So happy Keith is back! Hopefully Jess learns from the social media feedback and doesn’t sing so much next season when supposed to be talking to contestants. And yes, they need to change the format as the Cut was brutal and so rushed.

  5. So happy Rita is coming back. Honestly happy the whole panel is. Was seriously the best panel we’ve had and a breath of fresh air. I hope Seven change it up a bit though. The whole cut part was awful. Its going to be a hard season to top though. Talent wise was the best we’ve ever seen.
