AACTA Awards 2021: Industry nominees

The Newsreader, Fires, Clickbait amongst shows recognised by AACTA in Craft categories.

Nominees have been announced for the 2021 AACTA Industry Awards, recognising Crafts including editing, cinematography, casting and more.

The Newsreader has the most at six craft nominations including Best Casting and Best Production Design in Television.

Fires, Clickbait, and New Gold Mountain are among the other TV shows picking up new technical craft nominations.

Winners will be announced online at AACTA TV and broadcast on Binge and Foxtel Arena at 6.30pm Monday December 6.

The AACTA Awards Ceremony will be broadcast nationally on Channel 10 at 7.30pm AEDT December 8 and replayed on BINGE, Foxtel Arena, and AACTA TV.

  1. Surprised RFDS has missed out on something especially cinematography. They had some amazing shots. Guess its assumed cancellation (TVNZ said in a recent article it has only one season so i guess its all but confirmed) hasn’t helped.

  2. Amazing that SBS’s New Gold Mountain has not received more AACTA nominations. The images were sublime and so was the direction and acting. A bold story skilfully told.
