Auditions have opened for a new ITV Studios produced dating show, which TV Tonight understands is the Meatloaf-inspired I’d Do Anything for Love.
“Are you in love, up for fun and a music fan? Then we want you! ITV Studios Australia are looking for adventurous couples to play for cash in a major new format. A sense of humour and high energy are welcome,” a casting notice declares.
Meat Loaf (aka Michael Lee Aday), serves as an executive producer on the US original, which draws inspiration from his 1993 Jim Steinman-penned hit.
According to Deadline, the format with ITV America sees participating couples “compete in a variety of comedic physical games designed to reveal how well they can work together and how much they really trust and believe in each other – all to a soundtrack of classic hits, performed live in the studio by the original artists as well as new stars.”
Application questions include:
- How long have you and your partner been together?
