Interesting to see what 9 does with Love Island next year. The vast majority of its audience watches online at 9Now, so it should just be on 9Now only. However, I assume it airs on Nine in order to justify the production costs? Can the cost be justified for 9Now only? For a local production to now be bumped to 9.40 I would think it’s not viable.
I wonder how much the international markets come into it as it has quite a big following in a few other countries.
