Celebrity MasterChef tops entertainment, Bluey’s big return.
Cooking contest finishes strong for 10. New Bluey season upstages several primetime shows.

10’s cooking contest came home with a strong finish and ABC’s hit kid’s series upstaged several primetime shows on Monday.
Celebrity MasterChef finale average 700,000 metro viewers across most of the extended episode, rising to 805,000 for the moment Nick Riewoldt won the 2021 title.
That was well ahead of 7:30 (592,000), Australian Story (551,000), RBT (468,000) and Big Brother: VIP (340,000).
The other stand-out on Monday was a new season of Bluey with a bumper 364,000 on ABC Kids yesterday morning. Another 281,000 watched the repeat at 6:20pm. It will climb much higher still with further 7 day viewing.
Meanwhile Australian Crime Stories drew 372,000 then Media Watch (343,000), Universe with Brian Cox (342,000).
Nine network won Monday with 26.3% then Seven 24.0%, 10 23.0%, ABC 17.6% and SBS 9.1%.
Nine News (881,000 / 880,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair drew 671,000 then Hot Seat (371,000 / 251,000). Love Island drew 176,000.
Seven News was #1 at 961,000 / 944,000 for Seven. Home & Away was 512,000 then The Chase (498,000 / 315,000). 9-1-1 was 195,000 / 172,000.
The Project pulled 470,000 / 260,000 for 10. 10 News First was 318,000 / 202,000. FBI: Most Wanted was 248,000.
ABC News drew 642,000 for ABC. The Wimbledon Kidnapping (212,000) and The Drum (161,000) followed.
On SBS it was Tony Robinson’s World by Rail (189,000), Britain’s Most Historic Towns (136,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (134,000) and SBS World News (106,000 / 101,000).
Sunrise: 250,000
Today: 223,000
News Breakfast: 133,000 / 74,000
In Total TV lifts last Monday were:
Love Island: 565,000
9-1-1: 512,000
Media Watch: 595,000

MasterChef was brilliant. Well done to all involved.
But gee 9-1-1 last night was a little spooky with the storyline considering what happened in Wisconsin. Different circumstances about the driver but still spooky.
