Farmer Paige ready for change on Farmer Wants a Wife (& hubby)

Farmer Paige from NSW is the first female farmer looking for love in Seven series.

Farmer Wants a Wife has revealed its cast looking for romance in 2022, including the first female farmer on Seven.

She is Farmer Paige, 27, Cassilis, NSW, who specialises in Mixed Production (sheep, cattle and cropping).

“I am quite an open person. I really like being with other people and being active. I am constantly out and about, getting involved in what’s happening. As a farmer, I couldn’t be luckier than to have the support and guidance of those close to me. I am grateful to have the opportunity to grow and learn from such incredible people,” she said.

“I’d like to meet a man who is focused, driven, and has goals and a vision, because that’s the same as me. I want to achieve and keep growing, and to find someone else who wants to do that with me would be great.

“I need someone that either understands or is willing to learn the life on farm, because out here we live the job. You don’t have to be a farmer, but you need to understand things will pop up at 7pm on Friday night and you have to fix the fence because if you don’t, the cows will get out.”

Nine previously featured a female farmer in their 2016 season.

Seven is currently calling for singles for the six who have been announced.

The others are:

Farmer Will, 26, Berriwillock, Vic.
Type of Farm: Broad acre cropping and sheep

Farmer James

Farmer Benjamin

Farmer Ben

Usually their inclusion in the final cast is dependent on whether enough singles register interest.

  1. Good to see a female farmer looking for a husband.
I remember the 9 female farmer too.
It would be nice to see a farmer looking for a same sex partner in a future season!
