This week Insight has a special simulcast with NITV.
Karla Grant will host the forum “Incarceration: An Indigenous Perspective” which follows topics raised in the documentary Incarceration Nation.
Hosted by Karla Grant, Incarceration: An Indigenous Perspective aims to provide a clearer understanding around the complex issues surrounding the incarceration of Indigenous Australians by bringing together those who have spent time in prison and families whose loved ones have died in custody.
They will be joined by a group of people, including Dylan Voller, Keenan Mundine, Leetona Dungay, Apryl Day, Debbie Kilroy and George Newhouse, who are working to reduce the high rates of First Nations in the criminal justice system and will discuss key solutions to address this serious issue.
Tuesday, 9 November at 8.30pm on SBS & NITV.
