This might be one for your PVR if you are consuming the Bert Newton nostalgia.

Nine will replay Australia’s Top 10 of Everything: “Bert & Don Antics” at 1am Sunday morning.

Don Lane & Bert Newton were undeniable legends of Australian Television. During the 70’s and 80’s they formed an incredible partnership to bring laughs and joy into countless homes. Join us to watch some of their best moments.

Nine is also replaying Bert Newton: Let Me Entertain You at the friendlier time of 7:30pm Saturday.

  3. Is there room for an Oz streaming service that celebrates the “best” of Australian TV? A similar setup to the joint BBC-ITV arrangement BritBox – dedicated to those Graham Kennedy-Toni Lamond-Ernie Sigley-Don Lane-Mike Preston-Ugly Dave Gray hosted IMT and Kennedy’s national shows… the Mike Walsh midday shows (0-10 & 9)… whatever 7 did re variety (my gawd – The Penthouse Club!!! with Mary Hardy and race-caller Bill Collins!).
    But maybe not enough wanting to take a stroll down the Primrose Lane of early TV.
    Still, if Sommers is getting a quid out of his HHIS retrospectives, might be worth a look…
