What a coincidence, the original Lost In Space only lasted 3 seasons too.F
Season 1 had some dire episodes but it certainly improved in Season 2 so I’ll watch to see how it all gets wrapped up. The children are really annoying (mostly problems with the script I suspect) but ‘Dr’ Smith is a delight.
Really underrated show. It’s quality TV that a wide age range can enjoy.
Hopefully this final season will not let Lost in Space fans down and end on a high, I for one am thankful that the Lost in Space producers and Netflix renewed this show for season 3, it isn’t the Lost in Space of my childhood but it is enjoyable all the same. The original 1960’s Lost in Space never took itself seriously and neither does this more expensive 21st Century version, which makes it a bit of a shame that Lost in Space could not have been released every two years as an end of year event, (during December), these type of family classic retro remakes where the story stays more or less true to the creative concept of the original are disappearing from our screens now, replaced by more contemporary ideas.
