Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has confirmed his intention for a second season, following its global success.
Speaking to the Associated Press at a screening in Los Angeles he said, “There’s been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for a second season. So I almost feel like you leave us no choice!
“But I will say there will indeed be a second season. It’s in my head right now. I’m in the planning process currently.”
While Netflix is yet to make any formal announcement yet, Hwang added lead actor Lee Jung-jae will return as main character Seong Gi-hun.

I didn’t watch this straight away because I didn’t like the “idea” of it. But I think it was really well done and I was hooked from the start. Will a second season will work as well? I’m not sure the shock value will be there. We shall see.

It’s so overrated. You should watch Alice in Borderland instead.
Yeah but no but hmmm maybe, season one was brutal and left it wide open for a series of more brutality with a dose of revenge…..Just not sure I’m interested.
