US media this week reported Kevin Can F*** Himself starring Annie Murphy will conclude with its upcoming second season.
The AMC series, which screens in Australia on Amazon Prime Video, sees Murphy (Schitt’s Creek) as  Allison McRoberts, a woman whose marriage is so suffocating she views it as a sitcom as a coping mechanism. It veers from grotesque sitcom style, including with a laugh track, to dark comedy with a killer instinct.
Also starring Mary Hollis Inboden, Eric Petersen, Alex Bonifer, Brian Howe, and Raymond Lee, it has drawn critical acclaim so its brief run is somewhat surprising.

I got super confused reading this because I was thinking of the Kevin James sitcom Kevin Can Wait…
I’m ok with this so long as the writers knew beforehand that it was two and done. The first season was a dark delight. The only real issue I had with the show was Kevin’s sitcom bits were too frequent and went on far too long. I hope they go all out to wrap things up.
terrible show it isnt nice and trys to be two things not suprised its been cancelled
I mean, that is literally the point of the show. As David wrote: “It veers from grotesque sitcom style, including with a laugh track, to dark comedy with a killer instinct.”
that doesnt make it a good show its not entertaining and not something you would reccomend to friends
