Big Bash has not been the same since 7 started covering it.
That’s partly true but they have ruined the original format ,was a total of 35 games including 3 finals but now instead of 8 games each they play 14 so it’s about 60/61 all up including finals and as we are seeing it just drags and is boring.
BBL was great when it first started. Big hitters like Gayle came here and were hitting them out the park every over. Crowds loved it and participation was fun. Then as usually happens, someone came along and had to make changes to a very good system and bingo, the crowds are right down (Covid or no covid in my opinion) and it is boring TV. The batters hit quicker in the tests than they do in the BBL. Very disappointing
It’s interesting with the cricket… I the same as many Australians really enjoy the international games in all the different forms of cricket.. Over the last couple of years for me the BBL has become somewhat boring when compared to international cricket and as a result I have lost interest.. When I sometimes go to a big bash game to check the scores which is all I do now and that satisfies any interest I have … it feels like its just the same old thing over and over again
IMO there is to much of it .. it’s boring
I thought Snack Masters figures were lowish until I saw the BBL figures. Those cricket numbers are terrible.
