On Hiatus

Summer hiatus begins at TV Tonight.

From today, TV Tonight begins summer Hiatus, the first since January, and the second year running without any mid-year Hiatus -phew!

It’s been another year dominated by COVID-related stories, but fingers crossed most of those are behind us.

With the ratings year and AACTAs now done, general news has been winding down (there’s still a bit around Programming in Subscription, but it’s hardly pressing stuff). That means there will be a morning news wrap, while still keeping an eye on Breaking News. Think of it as moving from 4th gear to 1st gear.

There are still features, interviews reviews and some 2021 retrospectives to come, but with limited posts on weekends.

You know the drill, there may be some delays during Hiatus, including for Comments, Ratings and Calendar -your patience is appreciated during this time.

Voting continues in the annual TV Tonight Awards until the end of the month, I’ll be teasing some voting trends shortly.

No need to wish you a festive season just yet…. I even file on Christmas Day.

David.
