Airdate: The Fallout

Vada navigates the emotional fallout she experiences in the wake of a school tragedy.

New feature film The Fallout, written and directed by Megan Park, screens next week on Binge.

The film stars Jenna Ortega (Scream, You, Yes Day), Maddie Ziegler (West Side Story, Music), Niles Fitch (This Is Us, Roman J. Israel, Esq.), Will Ropp (The Way Back, The Sex Lives of College Girls), John Ortiz (Ad Astra, Bumblebee), Julie Bowen (Modern Family, Hubie Halloween) and Shailene Woodley (Big Little Lies, The Divergent Series).

The story follows high schooler Vada (Ortega) as she navigates the emotional fallout she experiences in the wake of a school tragedy. Relationships with her family and friends, as well as her view of the world, are forever altered.

Megan Park’s feature screenwriting and directing debut won both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award for Narrative Feature at the 2021 SXSW Film Festival, while also garnering Park the festival’s Brightcove Illumination Award for her screenplay.

The Fallout was produced by Shaun Sanghani of SSS Entertainment and David Brown of Clear Horizon alongside Rebecca Miller, Cara Shine and Todd Lundbohm. Joannie Burstein and Giulia Prenna also produced. The film was financed by SSS Film Capital, Clear Media Finance, and 828 Media Capital.
