Returning: After Life

Ricky Gervais comedy returns for its final season next week.

The third and final season of After Life screens on Netflix next week.

Set in the small fictitious town of Tambury, the show follows Tony, a writer for the local newspaper whose life is upended after his wife dies from cancer. While still struggling with immense grief, Tony starts to realise that making other people feel good is what can give him hope and a reason to live. After all, every end is a new beginning.

The series is created, written, and directed by Ricky Gervais, and features Penelope Wilton, Ashley Jensen, Tom Basden, Tony Way, David Earl, Joe Wilkinson, Kerry Godliman, Jo Hartley, Diane Morgan, David Bradley, Peter Egan, Ethan Lawrence, Colin Houltand Michelle Greenidge.

Kath Hughes joins as new intern, Coleen while guest stars include Tim Key, Dave Hill, Wendy Albiston, Ricky Grover, Ben Hull, Cole Anderson-James and Kate Robbins.

    1. Agree, really enjoyed the first two seasons. It’s a very different story to anything else I’ve every watched, which makes it quite intriguing. Ricky adds his usual uniqueness and yes the supporting cast are all excellent.
