Season 11 of UK crime series Vera begins later this month on ABC.

There are 4 current episodes this season of the Brenda Blethyn series, two of which screened in the UK last year.

In season 11 of Vera, DCI Vera Stanhope (Brenda Blethyn) returns, leading her diligent team of detectives as they investigate six complex and murderous crimes. Whether crossing the Tyne on the trail of a brutal inner-city murder or braving the stark natural beauty of Northumberland National Park to follow in the footsteps of her unfortunate victim, Vera will bring her usual brand of searing insight, caustic wit and fearless detection to cases involving family betrayals, toxic obsessions, and long-buried secrets.

Begins 8:40pm Sunday January 30 (repeat eps screen on Jan 16 / 23).

  1. David I realise it might be too soon to ask, but I’m curious: in the UK the season was split. Season 11B started in the UK this week, do you know if we get a single run season?

  2. Vera was renewed for a 6 episode S11 and production started in 2020. The first 2 episodes aired in Sep/Aug in the UK, and it resumes this week with episode 3. Looks like episode 4 will be available to the ABC before the end of Feb.
