Screen Actors Guild Awards 2022: nominees

Nominees include Succession, Ted Lasso, Mare of Easttown and history-making Squid Game.

Nominations have been announced for the Screen Actors Guild Awards with Succession, Ted Lasso, Mare of Easttown amongst top shows.

Squid Game made history becoming the first non-English-language series to land nominations, for its ensemble, stars Lee Jung-jae, Jung Ho-yeon and stunt ensemble.

Aussies Sarah Snook (Succession) and Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus) were nominated separately, while Nicole Kidman and Kodi Smit-McPhee were nominated in Film for Being the Ricardos and The Power of the Dog, respectively.

This year’s SAG Awards will also honour Helen Mirren with the lifetime achievement award, set for February 27 (USA) unless it is postponed.
