Obi-Wan Kenobi, in which Ewan McGregor reprises his role as the Jedi Master, will screen on Disney+ in late May.
The limited series also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader.
Joining them are Aussie Joel Edgerton, Moses Ingram, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.
The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
“Obi-Wan Kenobi” is executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor and Joby Harold.
Wednesday May 25 on Disney+.

And why not May the 4th ,how odd
Ha ,my yearly subscription just ran out before the last episode of that dreadful Book of Bobafett ,I’ll renew a month at a time ,let’s see how much more Di$ney can butcher in the Star Wars universe.
Dreadful? I thought The Book of Boba Fett was superb…
I just couldn’t get into it ,I’ll have to watch last episode but it was missing something ,for a character that had just over 6 and a half minutes screen time in the movies he’s now more like a politician than a bounty hunter.
Then you missed what was in reality episodes 1 and 2 of The Mandalorian season 3. The Mandalorian filled in for Boba Fett after episode 4 of this series. According to insiders John Favreau is being given increased creative responsibility for future Star Wars screenplay development from Kathleen Kennedy, this change should be seen in the final episodes of Boba Fett.
I got to episode 6 so Grogu had to make a choice ,I shall wait and see.
