NZ mystery starring Lucy Lawless is renewed for a third season by Acorn TV.

My Life is Murder has been renewed for a third seasonsby Acorn TV.

The series follows Lucy Lawless as retired detective Alexa Crowe as she investigates quirky mystery cases. She is joined by partner-in-crime-solving Madison (Ebony Vagulans), detective Harry (Rawiri Jobe) and café owner Reuben (Joe Naufahu).

Matt Campbell, Group CEO, CJZ told TV Tonight,  “We’re thrilled that Alexa’s adventures in Aotearoa are set to continue! With fantastic partners in Acorn TV, TVNZ, DCD Rights and Network 10, Greenstone TV have brought together a dream team of creatives lead by the incredible Lucy Lawless. Ready or not Auckland, here she comes again…”

Season 2 moved to NZ and Acorn TV, but Network 10 still has second window rights and will screen S2 mid year.

My Life is Murder is executive produced by Lawless, Claire Tonkin, Rachel Antony, Nicky Davies Williams, Pilar Perez and Don Klees.
