First subject is actor Jodie Whittaker (Dr. Who, Broadchurch).

This 4 part season, which has previously screened on Pay TV, also includes David Walliams, Ruth Jones and Liz Carr.

Dr. Who and Broadchurch actor Jodie Whittaker investigates her family history. On her dad’s side, she looks into a romantic story she’s been told about how her beloved grandmother Greta came to be given the middle name of ‘Verdun’ – also the name of a First World War battle fought shortly before Greta was born.
