2022 Supercars Championship on Seven

Mark Beretta and Jack Perkins lead live coverage of Sydney SuperNight this weekend across Seven.

2022 Supercars Championship season begins with this weekend’s Sydney SuperNight, Live across Seven, 7mate and 7plus.

Mark Beretta and former Supercars driver Jack Perkins lead five hours of live coverage each day.

Throughout the 2022 Supercars season, fans can immerse themselves in all the high-octane action, with every race available live, free and in HD* on 7plus. Sports fans can go behind the scenes of a race day with replays and highlights from key races, as well as bonus Supercars content, including interviews with drivers, exclusive documentaries and behind the scenes vision.

Motorsport icons Jess Yates, Neil Crompton and Mark Skaife will also be part of the coverage, along with fan favourite Mark Larkham in pit lane. Motorsport fans will also welcome back Riana Crehan to Seven’s pit lane coverage.

Seven’s world-class coverage will continue uninterrupted during commercial breaks, through cutting edge picture-in-picture (PiP) technology introduced during the 2021 season.

Shane van Gisbergen will be looking to continue his impressive form to retain his 2021 title when he hits the track at Sydney Motorsport Park on Saturday night. Saturday marks the first time the venue has hosted the first round of the season since 1999.

  1. The last time out for this event (the Sat night race slot) it was on the main Ch7 channel (not 7Mate). This time the Sat night race on 7Mate, though Sun arvo race seems to be on the main Ch7 (exc Perth). Also showing on 7Plus and everything’s on Fox Sports which has the full rights to the whole seaosn and not the six-race package Seven has – nevertheless very important for overall eyeballs and including the big-rating showpiece Bathurst 1000 weekend.
