Next week Seven will screen a tribute to the late Shane Warne with a documentary special, Warnie*.
The one hour special showcases the highs and lows of the King of Spin, who built an extraordinary career both on and off the pitch, and whose untimely death at the age of 52 stunned the world earlier this month.
Interviews include:
• Glenn McGrath, former teammate
• Matthew Hayden, former cricketer
• Justin Langer, former cricketer and Australian Coach
• Merv Hughes, former cricketer
• Matt Comyn, Commonwealth Bank CEO
• Tracy Bevan, McGrath Foundation Director
• Mel McLaughlin, 7NEWS sports anchor
• Magda Szubanski, Comedian and television personality
• Danni Minogue, Singer and television personality
* also the title of his 2010 variety series on Nine.

I wonder when the “Marshy” tribute will air???
It’s disgusting how Rod Marsh and his legacy has been ignored by everyone.
He was just as important to Australian cricket as Warne and a much better person off field too.
Absolutely agree Rod Marsh seems to be forgotten by the Media they are all talking about Shane Warne – Rod Marsh also did a lot for Cricket in Australia and he shouldn’t be just pushed a side by the media
I would have thought that channel 9 would have compiled a tribute special for the man himself but I guess all that matters is reality TV and NRL now,still I’d like to see one if that’s possible.
Nine did an ACA special the day after he died, and I suspect more coming.
Well that’s good to know I missed it and will keep an eye out for another I hope.
Everytime I see that face….my eyes leak…I am not a cricket fan per se but he was kinda Australia’s favourite child….he just endeared himself to so many.
