‘Bluey home’ on the market

Queenslander home used for a Bluey promo is being sold, without its colourful trappings.

A Brisbane home elaborately transformed for an Air BnB Bluey promotion is going on the market, but with its rainbow trappings removed.

The Paddington home was transformed into the Bluey home for just 3 weeks before being torn down.

One family was lucky enough to stay in the Queenslander home in a joint promotion with BBC.

One neighbour didn’t think many other kids got to look inside the home, despite stopping by.

“The traffic wasn’t too bad and the security officers kept everybody under control and it was cute,” they said.

“I thought they would have just kept it because it was such a drawcard.”

The Herald Sun reports the BBC is now refusing to give permission for the home to be linked to the Bluey brand to spruik the sale. The selling agent was instructed to take down an Instagram post linking the property to Bluey.

Airbnb said it had donated a number of items to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
