SAS Australia slips again, Nine wins Monday.

Four Corners and Media Watch help ABC to pip 10 on Monday.

On Monday night Married at First Sight led entertainment at 942,000 metro viewers -triple the audience of SAS Australia at just 313,000 -its lowest number so far this season.

However both grew by an impressive 45% in Total TV numbers for last Monday.

Meanwhile in the same slot were 7:30 (572,000), Australian Survivor (497,000) -up 43% in Total TV- and Australian Story (456,000).

Later Four Corners led at 453,000 then Media Watch (452,000), Would I Lie to You? (322,000) and La Brea (290,000).

Nine network won Monday with 31.2% then Seven 23.3%, ABC 18.7%, 10 18.6% and SBS 8.1%.

Nine News was 858,000 / 840,000 then A Current Affair (724,000) and Hot Seat (367,000 / 245,000). Nine News Late was 177,000. In select cities were Footy Classified and 100% Footy on 76,000 / 48,000 respectively.

Seven News was #1 at 995,000 / 923,000 for Seven. The Chase drew 527,000 / 333,000 then Home & Away (488,000). The Amazing Race was 153,000 / 137,000.

ABC News was 664,000. China Tonight (193,000) and The Drum (152,000) followed.

The Project pulled 385,000 / 230,000. 10 News First was 321,000 / 192,000 then FBI: Most Wanted (139,000).

On SBS it was SBS World News (172,000 / 124,000), Scotland: Escape to the Wilderness (129,000), Royal History’s Myths & Secrets (123,000), Great House Revival (86,000) and Mastermind (81,000).

7TWO’s Doc Martin led multichannels again at 131,000. The Cook Up with Adam Liaw returned to 42,000.

  1. David-what did ‘La Brea’ do please?-out of the top 20-I’m surprised it hasn’t slid faster but obviously benefits from some of the MAFS hangover. Thanks.

  2. Congratulations need to go to Ten’s Sales Team and Roving Enterprise. They managed to get a lot of money out of WA Tourism to fund The Project broadcasting from Perth with the contracted tourism footage play-ons and location stories. Given the low ratings of the show, it’s a mighty achievement to get anyone to sponsor the show. Given very few people watch the show; it finishes 3rd in its time slots, not sure it was a great investment by WA Tourism.

      1. The Projects audience are very engaged with the show. People who watch are high spenders. Older people watch the News and don’t really appeal to advertisers in the same way.
