The 7pm News wraps the day’s important moments, including analysis from Political Editor Andrew Probyn. Join Leigh Sales on 7.30 for the key interviews with analysis from Chief Political Correspondent Laura Tingle.

The Drum and News Breakfast hosts will be going on the road hearing first-hand from voters about the challenges they face in their suburbs and towns.

The ABC’s Parliament House team delivers special weekly on-demand show The Brief, available on ABC iview and ABC NEWS channel.

Every Sunday during the campaign David Speers hosts an extended 90-minute Insiders.

On April 21, Q+A will broadcast from Gladstone to debate local issues in the community, including the transition from a reliance on fossil fuels to a greener future.  And just weeks after the devastating floods in Brisbane, voters will have the chance to put their questions to politicians and thought leaders on April 28, when the program heads to Brisbane Powerhouse.

Casey Briggs analyses the campaign at the ABC NEWS touchscreen. He examines what the candidates do, not what they say, including their movements around the country, advertising spend, social conversations, media coverage and more.

Annabel Crabb will bring her trademark political analysis and commentary to the campaign across ABC NEWS digital and in her Politics Newsletter.

Vote Compass returns to show Australians how their views align with those of candidates and the political parties by answering some quick questions at abc.net.au/australiavotes. Reporter Bridget Brennan mines the data to tell the story of the issues that matter most.

You Ask, We Answer is also back this election. Submit a question and our team of journalists will investigate and report back with what they find.

We’ll scrutinise the claims and statements being made as part of the Hidden Campaign and through RMIT ABC Fact Check.
