Rudy Giuliani on Masked Singer USA, judge walks out…

It's all fun & games until someone gets unmasked...

Former New York City Mayor and a member of former President Donald Trump’s legal team, Rudy Giuliani, was revealed as a Jack in the Box singer on The Masked Singer USA this week.

But it led to judge Ken Jeong walking off set.

Giuliani had been rumoured earlier this year when the episode was filmed, but he was unmasked on air this week performing “Bad to the Bone.”

Host Nick Cannon told asked him “Mr. Giuliani, with all of the controversy that’s surrounding you right now, I think it surprises us all that you’re here on The Masked Singer.”

“Me, too!” he replied, “I guess the main reason is, I just had a granddaughter Grace, and I want her to know that you should try everything, even things that are completely unlike you and unlikely.”

Following the 2020 presidential election, Giuliani represented Trump in lawsuits filed in attempts to overturn the election results, making false and debunked allegations about rigged voting machines, polling place fraud, and an international communist conspiracy -his license to practice law was suspended.

After Giuliani started to sing his goodbye performance, Jeong could be heard saying, “I’m done,” and then walked off the set.

In Australia, all 4 judges politely celebrated local controversial acts George Calombaris and Kyle Sandilands in their Masked Singer reveals. No word if Pete Evans is next…

  1. 100% behind Ken Jeong on this, in fact more time should have been given to his incredibly controlled fury than that ‘performer’. In fact better still, that ‘performer’ should not have been invited onto a show which is meant to be family friendly, positive and inclusive.

    1. I posted a message of support on Ken Jeong’s Facebook page and in return I’ve been attacked and even called a pedophile for my view by a few Giulani supporters. It’s so frustrating when people are fixated on hate rather than engaging conversation on different opinions. I can only imagine the bile Jeong himself is enduring right now.

    2. Agree and sorry to hear about your facebook responses. There are some seriously horrible people on social media. It makes you wonder where we are headed.

      1. Thanks, Shiraz. At least for over a decade, TVT has remained a haven of healthy conversation and different opinions with all the nastiness left out. The readers here make the site as much as David himself does.

        1. Thanks Mac. I work hard at moderation (and don’t always get it right), but am pleased that TVT is not a place for abuse. I encourage people to play the ball, not the man, with respectful exchange of ideas.

          1. The fact that you have so many loyal readers that have stuck with you over the years is testament to that. Thank you for this wonderful space.

      1. You’ll find I nearly always try to link back to the Aussie experience in copy. News stories for George Calombaris appearance included “outrage”, “bad taste” and “controversial” -but no walk offs.

  2. Good on Ken I would’ve done the same. Especially with all the Asian hate crime that is going on in NYC and with Rudy working with trump is an embarrassment with what’s going on atm.
