The Block to begin filming next week

Nine will begin filming The Block next week for its “tree change” series in the Macedon Ranges.

Contestants will build on 10 acre blocks (4.04ha.), including host Scott Cam renovating an old homestead.

Filming was due to begin this week but was pushed back by a week as yet another production dealt with the ongoing pandemic.

A Nine spokesperson told TV Tonight, “Like many TV shows, The Block has successfully navigated its way through the challenges of the pandemic for more than two years, in line with state and federal government health guidelines.

“The Block’s biggest season yet will air on Channel 9 later this year, as scheduled.”
