Charmed ends at 4 seasons, Mr. Mayor concludes at 2 seasons.

Rebooted fantasy Charmed has been cancelled in its fourth season.

Based on the original hit series, it starred Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Lucy Barrett, Rupert Evans and Jordan Donica.

It screens in Australia on 10 Peach / Paramount+.

Also axed is US sitcom Mr. Mayor after two seasons.

Created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, the series stars Ted Danson as Neil Bremer, a retired businessman who runs for mayor of Los Angeles to prove he’s “still got it.”

The cast also includes Holly Hunter, Bobby Moynihan, Vella Lovell, Mike Cabellon, and Kyla Kenedy. Over two seasons guests have included Andie MacDowell, David Spade, Chrissy Teigen, Beau Bridges and Ed Begley Jr. It screens in Australia on Nine.

  1. Only surprised that Charmed lasted that long. I did watch all of S1 of Mr Mayor, there were a couple of good episodes but it just didn’t hand together. 30 Rock was a much better workplace comedy chock full zany characters, but with much better story.

  2. Such a shame Mr Mayor is cancelled. If you watch the series at the time of airing you’ll see that it’s well written and produced using period references in pop culture. A very entertaining show, smart and witty too, nearly as great as Parks & Rec.
